Platform comparison

Comminari vs InviteMember

Both platforms help monetize private communities and automate member access. We compare how they work, what each currently offers and how their cost changes as your revenue grows.

The goal is the same: connect payments, members and access.

Charging for a private community does not end when a payment arrives. You also need to identify the buyer, grant access to the right group or channel and keep that access updated when they renew, cancel or stop paying.

Comminari and InviteMember both handle that operation. Each lets you prepare plans, charge members and automate entry and removal. The differences appear in available payment methods, supported platforms, day-to-day administration and pricing.

This comparison focuses on those current differences so you can decide which approach fits the way you manage your community.

Starting point

What you can do with both platforms.

The core service is similar: turn a private community into a membership without checking every payment and user by hand.

Create an offer

Define one-time or recurring plans and associate them with the access each member receives.

Charge and grant access

After payment, the buyer can enter the private space without waiting for the creator to verify the transaction manually.

Keep membership current

Access status updates when a subscription ends, is cancelled or is no longer active.

Payment methods

Available ways to charge your members.

Comminari currently centralizes payments in Stripe. InviteMember supports Stripe and additional gateways.

Payments in Comminari

Comminari currently centralizes payments in Stripe. Depending on country, currency, device and account settings, checkout can support cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfers and other Stripe methods.

Payments in InviteMember

InviteMember supports Stripe, PayPal, CoinPayments and other local providers. It currently offers more options if you need multiple gateways or cryptocurrency payments.

A foundation that can grow

These options describe the product today. Comminari starts with a complete Stripe integration and can add new methods as the platform evolves.

Telegram and Discord

Platforms you can currently connect.

Both platforms work with Telegram communities. InviteMember currently adds the option to attach Discord roles to a membership.

Comminari

Connect private Telegram groups and channels, attach plans and control member access from the web administration area.

InviteMember

In addition to Telegram groups and channels, Discord roles can be included as membership resources.

Daily management

Control everything from a web administration area.

Comminari brings together the tools you need to review payments, understand each member's status and respond to renewals, removals and issues.

01

A dashboard for the creator

From Comminari's administration area you can connect communities, prepare plans and discounts, review payments, inspect members and follow activity. Information is centralized without requiring bot commands or conversations.

02

A page for every member

The buyer also gets a web experience for choosing plans, paying, managing a subscription and recovering access. The creator does not have to handle every routine request in private messages.

03

Control what you receive

Comminari lets you customize the alerts you want. Choose whether to receive financial events, access changes, subscription activity, group issues or product updates.

InviteMember combines a dashboard, hosted page and membership bot. In Comminari, the web is the center of the experience for both the person running the community and the person paying to join.

Member experience

The buyer also follows a different path.

In both services, the goal is to let someone pay and enter without requiring the creator to intervene.

01

Choose and pay

In Comminari, the member opens the public page, chooses a plan and completes Stripe checkout. In InviteMember, the purchase can start from the hosted page or membership bot.

02

Identify and join

Comminari identifies the buyer with Telegram and connects the payment to the user requesting access. InviteMember provides a unique join-request link and monitors which user opens it.

03

Manage access afterwards

In Comminari, the member returns to the web to manage their subscription or recover access. In InviteMember, they can check their status and manage the subscription through the page or bot.

Pricing

Two different ways to pay for the platform.

The starting cost matters, but so does what happens when your community begins to earn more.

Comminari: start with no fixed fee

Prepare your community without paying upfront. There is no plan to choose or change: your level is calculated automatically and the fee falls from 3% to 2% and then 1% as revenue grows.

InviteMember: choose a monthly plan

Plans start at USD 19 per month for sales up to USD 500. When you exceed the selected limit, you move to the next tier and its new monthly fee.

How the cost changes as revenue grows

Choose a currency to see revenue and platform cost in the same unit. The examples apply Comminari's percentage and InviteMember's monthly fee for the corresponding tier.

Tiers are compared at the same revenue amount and InviteMember's fee uses this conversion: EUR 1 = USD 1.1467. Monthly billing is shown rather than the annual-payment equivalent. Processing fees are not included.

Choosing

What to consider before deciding.

Current features and the way you want to run the business mark the practical difference.

When Comminari may fit

If you want to control communities, plans, payments, members and notifications from a web administration area, start with no fixed fee and let the cost adjust automatically as you grow.

When InviteMember may fit

If you currently need Discord integration, cryptocurrency payments or several payment gateways from the start.

Both platforms automate the link between payment and access. The decision is what you need today and how you prefer to manage your community every day.
