Platform comparison

Comminari vs LaunchPass

Two platforms for charging and controlling community access. We compare the points that change the decision: integrations, management, product direction and cost.

The foundation is similar: charge and manage access without doing it by hand.

Comminari and LaunchPass let you sell private community access, connect payment to a member and update that access when a subscription changes.

The difference is each platform's current scope and the cost the creator takes on. LaunchPass supports communities across several messaging apps; Comminari currently focuses on Telegram and bringing monetization operations together in a web administration area.

The essentials

What both platforms solve.

Both cover the main flow of a paid community: create an offer, charge and keep every member's access up to date.

Plans and subscriptions

Offer different tiers, recurring charges and one-time payments to organize community access.

Automatic access

A person pays, receives the relevant access and loses it when their subscription is no longer active.

Member management

The buyer has a page for completing payment and managing their subscription.

Current scope

LaunchPass connects more platforms; Comminari streamlines Telegram and Stripe.

This is the main functional difference between the two proposals today.

Comminari

Connect private Telegram groups and channels and use Stripe for payments. Stripe can include cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfers and other methods depending on country and settings.

LaunchPass

Sell memberships for Telegram, Discord and Slack from the same platform. It uses Stripe for payments in paid communities.

Daily operation

Control monetization from a web administration area.

Selling is only the beginning. You then need to understand what happens to every member, payment, access change and issue needing attention.

01

All community information together

Comminari brings together groups, plans, discounts, payments, members and activity. Each charge is connected to a Telegram user, without rebuilding operations from messages or a separate spreadsheet.

02

A clear experience for the buyer

The member opens the public page, identifies with Telegram, chooses a plan and pays. They can return to the same place to manage the subscription or recover access.

03

Alerts you choose to receive

Configure alerts for payments, access, subscription events and issues, so the dashboard is not the only place to learn what matters.

LaunchPass also offers a dashboard, an offer page and a member portal. Both platforms aim to reduce manual work; Comminari organizes that operation around Telegram and a single web administration area.

Pricing

A fixed fee per community changes cost from the first day.

LaunchPass charges USD 29 monthly for every paid community, plus 3.5% per transaction. Comminari has no fixed fee and automatically reduces commission as revenue grows.

Comminari: no fixed fee

Commission is 3% up to EUR 1,999 per month, 2% from EUR 2,000 and 1% from EUR 7,000. There is no plan to choose or change.

LaunchPass: fee + commission

For a paid community, LaunchPass applies USD 29 per month and 3.5% of every transaction. The fee is charged even before you have paying members.

Platform cost as revenue grows

Choose a currency to compare both costs in the same unit. The table shows LaunchPass's monthly fee and commission for one paid community.

Direction

The same current need, two ways to grow.

Beyond today's features, each product organizes community monetization around a different approach.

LaunchPass

Its proposal is oriented towards being the membership layer for communities spread across Telegram, Discord and Slack.

Comminari

Its proposal is oriented towards the creator managing and monetizing community, resources and experiences from one connected platform.

If you only need to automate access to a community across several messaging apps, LaunchPass currently provides that scope. If you want to centralize community monetization and have cost fall as you grow, Comminari is designed for that journey.
